Sales Representative

This is an opportunity for a direct-commission sales position, NOT a multi-level marketing opportunity.

Are you looking to start your own business, but never knew where to start? Do you have a background in IT and/or sales? Comsoft Business Solutions, Inc. is looking for new partners to assist in selling a suite of technologies targeted at IT cost savings for small offices and home-based businesses.

In particular, we offer a suite of managed VPN solutions based on OpenVPN, with the customer’s option of selecting a Samba-based file server, or a Windows-based file server, with the ability to add MySQL or MS-QL databases to the package, plus value-added software and services with each package.

We will provide quality leads for potential sales targets, you may also bring your own potential customers to the table, either way, a monthly residual of 30% of the price we charge customers for our services will be payable to you for each month that customers you refer pay for our services.

There are no required specific working hours for this position as payout is based on reoccurring commissions, however, most potential customers will be located in the United States and work standard business hours.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Must have 5 to 10 years of combined experience in IT and/or direct sales
  • Applicants with 4-year (or equivalent) technology-related degrees OR who carry at least one recent IT industry certification are highly preferred
  • Must be able to competently comprehend, read, write, and speak English
  • Must have solid references from previous employers
  • Must be competent in using Windows 10 or Windows 11 for basic, everyday tasks
  • Must be familiar with using basic functions of Microsoft Office, especially basic functions of Word and Excel
  • Equivalent experience with OpenOffice, LibreOffice, or StarOffice applications is also acceptable
  • Must be able to provide your own internet and telephone connection to receive e-mails and phone calls with sales leads and from our leadership team, as well as to reach out to potential sales leads
  • Must be willing and able to respond to simple and brief, textual or voice requests from our leadership team regarding your ongoing sales efforts in order to maintain residual commission
  • Demonstrated ability to work alone
  • Must be available on Monday mornings for sales briefs and sales meeting.
